Position:

Captain and First Officer A300-600R (Currently Qualified)

First Officer B 737-800, A340, B747-400 (Transition)

 

Effective Date:

Immediately

Duration:

Two- year contracts under Global Flyers lease agreement with China Airlines, extendable to age 60 with possibility of upgrade.

Domicile:

 

All pilots are based in TPE, but the airline will offer block days off to B747-400 or A340 pilots in selected CAL U.S. or European stations.

Compensation:

 

Currently qualified captains paid $9,750 per month; currently qualified A300-600R first officers paid $6,300 per month.
Transition first officers paid as follows:

$6,300   B747-400 with block days off in Taiwan;

$5,800   B747 with block days off in Europe or the U.S.; 

$5,800   A340 with block days off in Taiwan;

$5,300   A340 with block days off in Europe or the U.S.

$5,300   B737-800 with block days off in Taiwan.


Overtime is paid monthly on an hourly basis for credited flight hours.
Automatic pay raises after 2 years of service.

 

 

Monthly Base Hours:

75 block hours, including rest time on multiple or double crews.

Monthly Maximum Hours:

100 block hours, including rest time on multiple or double crews (same as FAA).

Experience Required:

 

Captains: 6,000 total flight hours, 1,500 PIC on jet, 750 PIC on type, current proficiency check within 12 months.

First Officers: 1,500 total flight hours, ICAO/U.S. ATPL, jet experience and glass cockpit preferred.Through special arrangement with Global Flyers, candidates who are otherwise qualified but not current may complete Alteon recurrent or enhanced recurrent training before the interview in order to qualify.

Training bond will be required for transition pilots.

Days Off:

 

Minimum eight block days off monthly at base.

Annual leave – 21 days to start, increasing 1 day per year of service to 30 days.
